Update - Times are hard, but God is good!
Psalm 62:5
Let all that I am wait quietly before God,
for my hope is in him. (NLT)
PRAYER:
Please join us in praying for our Read & Succeed students. We are in the midst of our fall semester. Our prayer is for our students to learn to love reading and not shy away from academic challenge.
BLESSINGS:
- Times are hard, but God is good. He has proven himself over and over. We thank God for continuing to meet the needs of Frontline. Our recent Annual Benefit luncheon was a great success with over 400 supporters in attendance.
- The partnership between Frontline and Florida Hospital Healthy Kids continues strong. Weekly coaching encourages students to make wise decisions for their growing bodies and provides a healthy dinner for students.
- Summer Leadership Academy celebrated their 2009 summer successes with a ceremony on October 2nd. During this ceremony local high school students were acknowledged for their hard work and received their Certificates of Completion.
- Read & Succeed is off to a strong start! 50 students are enrolled for one-on-one reading tutoring each week. Fall semester runs through November 17th.
